Daniella Otte
Daniella specializes in climate mobility and human rights, leading capacity-building and educational initiatives currently serving as Director of Programmes with Beyond Climate Collaborative (BCC) and Director and Founding member of the International School on Climate Mobilities (ISCM). She is also engaged with the IOM Fiji to develop and deliver regional trainings on Climate Mobility in the Pacific region, and consults with the human rights NGO Just Atonement Inc. She has worked NGOs, as well as with the UNHCR Colombia, the Dutch Embassy in Mozambique and the European Union for the Pacific region, on themes of education, food security, climate change, and displacement and migration. Originally from the Netherlands, Daniella now calls Fiji home and is driven by her commitment to climate justice in island and coastal communities. She holds an MA in Migration and Diaspora studies from SOAS, where her research on artivism, climate coloniality, and displacement underscores her passion to address climate injustices through creative storytelling.

Daniella is the Director of Programmes at Beyond Climate Collaborative (BCC). The BCC build bridges to support emerging leaders in their processes of (un)learning and (re)imagining how we think about and address climate-related (im)mobilities through the lenses of social, migrant, racial, feminist, economic and environmental justice.
