Final year UP law student Vaughn Rajah to attend the United Nations Human Rights Council Session in March 2019

The Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria is proud to announce that Vaughn Rajah, a final year law student, has successfully completed a legal internship in New York, USA. Vaughn served an internship with Just Atonement Inc (JAI), a US-based legal non-profit organisation specialising in international law and human rights. JAI has created an order of legal professionals who are using the law to address the growing global crises of war, climate change, and dictatorship.

UC Hastings Students Speak at UN Human Rights Council in Geneva

It’s not every day that law students get to participate in a global conference on international human rights, but after dedicating themselves to pro bono human rights research, four UC Hastings students had the surprise opportunity to attend the 37th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland.
