Yumna Kamel

Called to the Bar of England & Wales in November 2020, Yumna Kamel currently works in public law and human rights in London with a focus in asylum law and human trafficking cases. She is the co-founder of Earth Refuge: the planet’s first legal think tank dedicated to climate migrants. With a passion for all things refugee-law related, she leads in researching climate-linked migration patterns, the legal rights of people displaced internally and across borders and the effectiveness of regional and international laws in protecting climate migrants.
